These are the artifacts of my radical and relentless pursuit of joy.

For much of my working life, I have been a graphic designer — it is a world in which there is much consideration and hand-wringing given to the balance of form and function. (If you think about it for an extra second, much of life suffers this same scrutiny — this job or that one, this partner or that one, this dream or that security.)

In contrast, the natural world has shown itself to be insanely beautiful in every instance despite the fact that it doesn’t have to be. Mama Earth always chooses the joyful option and for this, I am grateful to my core. It is an answer when I can find no other.

A few years ago while I was working on my MFA at the Vermont College of Fine Arts, I put together a manifesto. I did it by combing through years' worth of letters, journals, and emails. I was pretty desperate to find out what I knew about myself. It turns out that I actually knew quite a bit and had known it for quite awhile. But I wasn't brave enough to listen to myself.

Mamha Life is a kind of surrender to what I KNOW. It is a search for joy and purpose and meaning that waxes and wanes like the moon — full bright to dark to full bright again. Every cycle a chance to learn, grow and let go of what is no longer serving me.

Mamha is a vibration of appreciation for the ever-present reminders about who I am and who I want to be that come from Mama Earth, from Source, from the Universe, from God, from... It is also a vibration of acknowledgment and love from my searching heart to yours. A ripple of energy I want to put into the world.

There are a lot of different things on this site, but the majority of them are bowls. Hand-made, heart-made vessels to hold what most needs holding for you.

A nourishing meal to feed your body.
A candle for contemplation.
The wedding ring of the marriage that doesn't fit anymore.
A crystal for healing.
The small and wondrous gifts from the hands of a young child.
Flowers and herbs for making your magic.

There is nothing perfect here other than my intention to set off the vibration in you. To remind you of your intentions, your magic, and your power to seek and manifest your joy.

You are magic. I am magic. We are insanely beautiful.
We are heart-made, too.

With great big, loud, imperfect love,
Molly
